Fun outdoor concert for all ages and it's FREE!!!

NIMFest – The Newport Independent Music Festival is a summer series of outdoor concerts free and open to the public held at the King Park gazebo on the Newport Harbor. Presented by the City of Newport with funding from Mrs. Samuel M.V. Hamilton, the concerts are Sundays from 3pm to 6pm featuring the best in local and regional artists. The series kicks off with a special Saturday night concert on June 28 with Abbey Rhode, a favorite Beatles band.

The plan is to have an outside show with a BBQ, horseshoes and more from 6 - 10 p.m. This is an amazingly old Tavern and a very cool place. Under new management since Memorial Day, this duo, Sheila and Charlie, know how to have a good time. Weather permitting we'll be outside, otherwise we just move the party inside.
